Really disappointed with these boots, purchased last November and wore approx 6 times over the winter. Have taken them out the cupboard today and all the chrome is peeling off. Contacted Embassy to be told that you only have 6 months to return. They don't need returning they are defective. Was then told by Embassy that they should have been used with a beeswax barm in order to keep the leather/chrome supple during the winter. This is not in any of the information on these boots. Paid £169 and now have to throw them away. Disappointed with the response and disappointed as I love these boots. I also have these in the olive and chrome which I purchased 2 years ago, I have had no issues with those boots as I explained to embassy. I was informed best not purchase these ones in future. Not at all helpful. Thanks
